How to apply and eligibility

To be eligible for a place at Baskeyfield House, applicants must:

* Be aged 55 or over

* Reside in, or have a strong connection to, the local area

* Meet the housing criteria for the local authority Stoke-on-Trent City Council

* Have an assessment of your care and support needs

Baskeyfield House may not be suitable if you have been assessed as requiring a substantial amount of regular nursing care which cannot be delivered in your own home.

Care and support

For your peace of mind, staff are on site 24 hours a day. We provide a comprehensive range of personal and domestic care and we will work with you to develop a personalised care plan. We can also provide domestic support such as assistance with shopping, laundry, vacuuming and washing up.

For extra peace of mind, your apartment will have an emergency pull cord system that, when activated, immediately alerts the 24-hour support team that you need assistance. Pendant alarms will be provided as part of the peace of mind charge.
