Bank Domestic Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Bank Domestic Assistant. Sidegate Lane Nursing Home supports 24 people with mental health needs and/or dementia in a homely environment with personalised care and support. The role of Bank Domestic Assistant will include:

  • Providing a personalised domestic service to customers, fulfilling housekeeping and domestic tasks to meet with customer needs
  • Ensuring a clean, comfortable and safe environment is maintained in the communal and service areas
  • Responsible for the daily use of housekeeping equipment
  • Monitoring of stock levels and reordering of supplies

Skills and experiences:

  • Experience of undertaking general housekeeping or domestic duties would be desirable, but not essential
  • Experience in understanding verbal and written instructions and undertaking requested duties
  • An approachable, caring and compassionate attitude is essential
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
  • The ability to demonstrate a competent level of numeracy and literacy
