Clover Court was very proud to win the Suffolk Care Award in 2018 for Promoting Dignity and Respect in Every Day life and we are we are currently recruiting for Care and Support Assistants to provide personal care and support to people living with physical disabilities.

Recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, Clover Court has 20 self-contained apartments supporting adults, who have a range of physical disabilities.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for supporting people with complex needs to live as independently as possible, someone who values kindness and patience and who treats others with dignity and respect. Our philosophy is simple; to give our residents a high standard of living within modern surroundings. The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:

  • Providing a high quality personalised care and support service
  • Delivering expert support to residents including the sensitive delivery of personal care
  • Driving and promoting residents integration and inclusion into the community
  • Empowering residents to lead fulfilling lives
  • Promoting safe practices and undertake risk assessments
  • Implement safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our residents

Skills and experiences:

  • Personalised approach ideally with experience within a similar care related role
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
  • Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
  • Good communication skills, allowing you to build relationships with residents
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards is desirable
