Regional Business Assistant – Part Time

Southwood House, Wellingborough

£9.18 per hour (rising to £9.66 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance) - Subject to April 2019 pay review

15 hours per week

We are seeking a Regional Business Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of our residents. Southwood House is a home for 14 adults with physical disabilities. We pride ourselves on treating people as individuals so all of our residents have care plans tailored to their individual medical, social and emotional needs. The role of Regional Business Assistant will include:

  • Ensuring that accurate and timely information is collected, collated and presented to continuously meet and exceed regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the management of complaints in line with policy to achieve customer service excellence
  • Providing a professional and efficient first point of contact for internal and external customers
  • Building relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
  • Contributing as required to special programmes and projects

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience of providing effective administration support within a customer service environment
  • Focused on delivering exceptional customer service including having an approachable, caring and compassionate attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure using your own initiative
  • Proven experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar) is required
  • Good organisational skills enabling you to prioritise your workload
