37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

We are seeking a Local Service Manager to help lead the team at our Haringey Thrive services, which support people with forensic mental health needs. With previous experience working within the mental health care sector in a supervisory role, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to success, representing the service within the local community and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the scheme.

The role of Local Service Manager will include:

  • Overseeing the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the staff team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
  • Managing a floating support service
  • Delivering contract KPI’s
  • Managing void properties, rent accounts and any arrears effectively
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Setting budgets
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and relevant external agencies with the proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners

Skills and experiences:

  • With previous experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service, you will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills
  • You will have experience of working in a personalised way, supporting service users to maximise opportunities for personal development
  • Travel is a requirement of the role; therefore a full, current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable
