We are seeking an enthusiastic Support Assistant to make a difference to the lives of our clients. The Shore Building is made up of 12 independent flats that house our clients with learning difficulties. If you feel you can promote independence, and support people to move forward with their lives, then this is a great opportunity.

The role of Support Assistant will include:

  • Providing a high quality person-centred care service to empower our clients

  • Working with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcome for our clients
  • Promote safe practices and carry out effective care and support procedures in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures

Skills and experiences:

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, listening and time management skills, allowing you to form positive relationships with our clients, staff and relevant parties working with us
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and knowledge of email and internet communications is essential

We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and people with mental health needs.
