Just a short walk to the seafront and Torquay town centre, Dunboyne Court’s apartments are ideally located. All apartments are finished with neutral colours and come unfurnished with fitted carpets throughout so you can personalise your home as you choose.

Apartments have an open-plan lounge and fitted kitchen as well as:

* One or two spacious bedrooms

* Fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, washing machine
   and cooker

* Level access shower room

* Emergency pull cord alarm system

* Intercom door entry system

When activated, the pull cord alarm system will alert the 24-hour support team that you need assistance.

Dunboyne Court has a vibrant community atmosphere. Many activities and social events are organised by staff including activities to raise money for their chosen charity of the year.

How to apply and eligibility

Applicants for rent or shared ownership must be 55 or over. However, applicants who have a long term condition and / or are in receipt of regular high levels of care and are under 55 may also be considered. Please note under 18s are not eligible.

Applicants for rental properties who have lived in Torbay for six of the last 12 months, or three out of the last five years will be given a priority.

The on-site restaurant is open to residents and the public 7 days a week. Hot meals are cooked daily and specials include fish and chips, and steak and kidney pie. The Light Bites menu includes omelettes, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and salads.

Saturday, 12pm - 2pm

Sunday, 8.30am - 2pm

Enjoy a tea or coffee with a slice of cake at our coffee morning every Friday, 10.15am – 11.30am.

Care and support

At Dunboyne Court you can live as independently as possible, knowing that support is available as your needs change. All apartments have an emergency pull cord system that, when activated, immediately alerts the 24-hour support team that you need assistance and pendant alarms are available if required.

Personal and domestic care is provided by Care Support. Their CQC registration applies to both Dunboyne Court and Whitley Court. Sanctuary staff are on-site for housing management.
