Our highly-trained staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents using the Life Star model.

Staff availability

Staff are on-site during office hours, seven days a week. There is an overnight sleep in and additional telephone support from management, should residents need any further support.

Additional support services

We work closely with local health care professionals to achieve the best outcomes for residents with changing needs. Working with the integrated learning disability team within the health care and social services, we support residents to access specialist services and technology to promote their independence and reduce their need for support whilst still feeling safe.

Understanding social distancing

To help residents at Old Milton Road understand social distancing, staff have encouraged them to follow the example of the Penguins of Madagascar and just ‘smile and wave’.

To support this, they have created life-size penguins Smiley and Wavy, who feature in a range of catchy videos. You can view these videos on their YouTube channel.
