About us

The Maples has 9 rooms in a shared house. We provide accommodation and support for single adults aged 18 and over, who are experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness.

  • Staff on-site 24 hours a day
  • Short-term supported housing
  • We are only able to accept referrals from professionals
  • Communal facilities including a lounge, dining room, kitchen and garden

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a place at The Maples, applicants must:

  • Have a local connection. You must have resided in the area for six of the last twelve months (or three out of the last five years) where residence has been out of choice, work in Devon, have family connections in Devon and/ or have special circumstances for moving to Devon
  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be a single adult (no children or other dependants)
  • Be homeless or at risk of homelessness

How do I apply?

We accept referrals from North Devon Council, as well as Devon Home Choice, Devon probation service, Rough Sleeping Coordinators, and Rise. We do not accept direct referrals. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
