Costessey Homelessness Supported Housing has eight single-occupancy bedrooms and one self-contained flat in the main building and another three single-occupancy bedrooms and two self-contained flats on the same site. We provide support for adults aged 18 and over, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system to ensure residents’ safety and security and concierge onsite in the evenings.

Support planning

Staff draw up a personalised support plan with residents using the Homelessness Outcomes Star model to help residents achieve their aims and goals.

Staff availability

Our highly trained staff are on-site during office hours to deliver personalised support and meet resident's needs. There is an overnight concierge and an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

  • Maintaining a tenancy
  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Cooking, cleaning and shopping
  • Building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
  • Managing anti-social behaviour
  • Preventing future homelessness
  • Accessing education, training and work
  • Maintaining health, safety and security
  • Signposting and accessing other services
  • Planning a successful move-on

Additional support services

We liaise with the local floating support team to provide additional assistance when residents move on to live independently.

To be eligible for a place at Costessey Homelessness Supported Housing, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Have identifiable support needs
  • Be committed to engaging with staff and external services

How to apply

To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from South Norfolk District Council, Norwich City Council and other local agencies that you are working with. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
