Trafalgar House provides support for adults aged 18 and over, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It has 16 single-occupancy bedrooms, which includes three rooms for emergency, short-stay, overnight accommodation. An additional nine flats provide move-on accommodation when residents are nearly ready to move into their own homes.

A total of 16 furnished rooms spread over three floors, some with en-suite bathrooms, and nine move-on flats.

Staff office on-site including overnight concierge, CCTV and a secure door access system to ensure residents’ safety and security.

Support planning

Staff draw up a personalised support plan with residents using the Homelessness Outcomes Star model to help residents achieve their aims and goals.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to suit residents’ needs, giving peace of mind that support is always on-hand. There is an overnight concierge service seven days a week, and an out-of-hours telephone service should residents require any further support.

  • Planning a successful move-on

Additional support services

We also provide short-term, follow-on support when residents move on to live independently.

To be eligible for a place at Trafalgar House, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Have identifiable support needs and committed to engagement

How to apply

We accept referrals from East Suffolk Council’s Housing Needs team. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
