About us

Withipoll Street provides female only accommodation with support for 10 single women aged 16 to 24, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The supported housing services provides a safe and stable environment for females who may have experienced domestic abuse, relationship breakdowns or exploitation.

  • Staff on-site during office hours
  • Short-term supported housing for up to two years
  • Communal lounge, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and garden

Two self-contained flats, each with a bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom, and eight single-occupancy bedrooms. All flats and bedrooms are fully-furnished.

A lounge, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and garden. Please note that Withipoll Street may not be suitable for those who have difficulty with mobility.

To be eligible for a place at Withipoll Street, applicants must:

  • Be a single female
  • Be aged 16 to 24
  • Be homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Be in need of support and would benefit from accessing a female-only environment.

How do I apply?

To apply, please complete Suffolk County Council’s application for housing-related support. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted
