Hyde Gardens has 11 one-bedroom apartments and eight studio apartments. We provide support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of mental health needs, encouraging them to develop their skills and live as independently as possible.

Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.

Staff draw up a personalised support plan with residents using the Mental Health Recovery Star model.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site various hours to suit residents’ needs, giving residents peace of mind that support is on-hand. There is an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Accessing education, training and work
  • Managing mental health needs
  • Building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
  • Dealing with correspondence

  • Signposting and accessing other services
  • Planning a successful move-on

Additional support services

We also provide follow-on support when residents move on to live independently.

To be eligible for a place at Hyde Gardens, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have an enduring mental health diagnosis and require support
  • Be homeless or at risk of homelessness

How to apply

We accept referrals from Lewes and Eastbourne Councils. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
