About us
Witham Mental Health Supported Housing has two schemes in Witham, providing a total of 28 flats and one bedsit.
We provide support for adults aged 18 to 64, with a range of mental health needs.

- Communal lounge, laundry room and garden at Coverdale
Accommodation
Location
Two schemes across Witham, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, parks, the Adult Community Learning centre and public transport links.
Accommodation type
Coverdale has a 22 one-bedroom flats and Freebournes Court has six one-bedroom flats and one bedsit.
Communal areas
At Coverdale, there is a communal lounge, laundry room and garden.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
We can provide assistive technology for additional safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
All flats are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Witham Mental Health Supported Housing, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 to 64
- Have your support needs assessed by your Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), Care Coordinator or Social Worker, and qualify for support in accordance with Section 117 of the Mental Health Act.
How do I apply?
To begin the application process, please speak to your Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) or mental health team. We are unable to accept direct applications. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
