About us

Set in the city of Sheffield, Byron Road has nine rooms in a shared house. We provide support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of mental health needs and learning disabilities, encouraging them to develop their skills and live as independently as possible.

Inspected and rated by the CQC

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.

They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.

Residents at Byron Road receive CQC-registered care and support from Sanctuary Supported Living (Studfield Court).

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a place at Byron Road, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have a mental health need or learning disability
  • Require a minimum of nine hours support per week

How do I apply?

We accept direct referrals where the applicant has a personal budget in place of nine hours or more. To apply, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form.

We also accept referrals from Sheffield City Council, via a social worker or community psychiatric nurse (CPN). All support needs and eligibility will be assessed before an application is accepted.
