The Gables in Redcar (Six one-bedroom flats), Thirlmere Crescent in Normanby (Four rooms in a shared bungalow), New Road in Guisborough (Six rooms in a shared house), Norwood in Saltburn-by-the-Sea (Four self-contained one-bedroom flats and four self-contained two-bedroom flats).

Communal areas at Thirlmere Crescent, The Gables and New Road include a lounge, dining room and kitchen, and all services benefit from a communal garden.

Staff are on-site 24 hours a day. There is a staff office on-site, and a secure door access system to ensure residents’ safety and security.

Accommodation is let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

Assistive technology
Technology

Personal pendant alarms and other assistive technology is available, such as bed sensors and door sensors, which can be installed throughout all services to meet individual needs. Free Wi-Fi for residents at all services with communal living areas.

Care and Support planning

Staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents using the Life Star model. We can provide 24-hour care and support, including personal care, depending on individual needs.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving residents peace of mind that support is always on-hand. There is an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

To be eligible for a place, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have a learning disability
  • Have a housing and care need

How to apply

We only accept referrals from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
