Oxford House has four one-bedroom apartments and five studio apartments. We provide support for homeless young people and young parents aged 16 to 25, who have medium or high-level support needs. Residents are encouraged to build their confidence, develop their skills and live as independently as possible.

Four part-furnished one-bedroom apartments, each with a bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom, as well as five part-furnished studio apartments.

Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system all help to ensure residents’ safety and security.

Some apartments are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement and others are let on a licence agreement.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site during office hours, giving residents peace of mind that support is on-hand. There is also an overnight concierge service, seven days a week, should residents require any further support.

  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Parenting skills
  • Accessing education, training and work
  • Managing rent and rent arrears
  • Maintaining health, safety and security
  • Signposting and accessing other services
  • Planning a successful move-on

We also provide follow-on support when residents move on to live independently.

To be eligible for a place at Oxford House, applicants must:

  • Be aged 16 to 25
  • Be homeless, or at risk of homelessness
  • Have medium or high-level support needs

If applying for a place as a young parent, applicants must also either be pregnant or have a child.

How to apply

We accept referrals from Oxfordshire County Council’s placement team. To apply, email placementservices@oxfordshire.gov.uk. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
