Mental Health Awareness Week

At Sanctuary Supported Living we were proud to support Mental Health Awareness Week 2019, led by the Mental Health Foundation.

Many of our services got involved, as we encouraged residents and staff to focus on their skills and achievements through the theme of ‘Body image: how we think and feel about our bodies’.

We shared videos through our YouTube channel and spread the word about mental health support through resident stories from residents.

Former resident Jenny Doyle put together a blog detailing her top tips for maintaining a positive body image.

Take a look at our Twitter page to see how we got involved and join in the conversation.

Across the country, Sanctuary Supported Living works with people of all ages with a variety of mental health needs through a range of supported housing services.

As well as having dedicated mental health schemes, Sanctuary Supported Living looks after the mental wellbeing of all its staff and residents. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for staff including an Employee Advice Service and 24-hour telephone support for residents when staff are not onsite amongst other support.
