Mental health support service being offered in Basingstoke

A new service to support people with their mental health needs is being offered in Basingstoke.

Sanctuary Supported Living’s North Hampshire Mental Health Community Support Service will be running weekly drop-in sessions at The Orchard, in White Hart Lane, from Thursday 1 August.

The sessions will take place every Thursday from 10am until 12pm and offer a range of advice and support, to help people manage their mental health needs, wellbeing and safety as well as improving self-confidence and maintaining positive relationships.

There will also be support available on budgeting, maintaining a tenancy and how to access other services.

Tracey Drew, Sanctuary Supported Living’s Peer Support Service Coordinator, said: “Supporting people with their mental health is extremely important and we are delighted to be running this drop-in service in Basingstoke.

“If you think you could benefit from our support then please come along to a session, we’ll be happy to see you.”
