Felixstowe service enjoys success at Suffolk Care Awards
A Sanctuary Supported Living service in Felixstowe has triumphed at the Suffolk Care Awards.

Montague Road, a residential nursing home for people with mental health needs, won the ‘Excellent Support Services’ category at the prestigious event.
Ancillary staff at the service, such as the catering, maintenance and housekeeping teams, were applauded for the environment they created for residents, enabling them to feel safe and cared for.
Specifically, residents at Montague Road, which is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), are encouraged to get involved with the garden and have helped design a beach hut, man shed and retro shop fronts.
Milly Gaskin, nursing home manager, said: “I’m thrilled that we have won this award, it’s absolutely amazing and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at the service.
“We all have a passion to make sure our residents are happy in everything they do and this honour is further evidence of that.”
Another Sanctuary Supported Living service, Hilltop House in Bury St Edmunds, which caters for people with physical disabilities, was highly commended in the ‘Excellent Training Opportunities’ category at the awards.
Sara Keetley, Operations Director for Sanctuary Supported Living, commented: “For Milly and the team at Montague Road to be recognised in this way is a fantastic achievement and one they should be rightly proud of.
“I am also delighted that everyone at Hilltop House was highly commended for the work they do for our residents. It, too, is richly deserved.”
