Sanctuary Supported Living’s Ashley Cooper House, was inspected as part of the CQC’s response to the pandemic, to check that care providers are meeting legal requirements and regulations to keep people safe.

Inspectors commented that national guidance was followed for using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and testing and supplies were readily available to all. Staff had also received the necessary training and the home was clean and hygienic.

Overall, the inspectors were assured that the service met good infection and control guidelines and have no concerns about Ashley Cooper House’s management of Covid-19.

Bea Banda, Local Service Manager, said; “We have been committed to minimising the impact of Covid-19 and keeping the residents, our staff and visitors safe throughout the pandemic. I’m pleased that this is reflected in the results of our recent inspection.”
