Help make someone’s Christmas special this year
Donations are urgently needed to provide vulnerable people with something special this Christmas.
Life Starts is a Sanctuary Supported Living (SSL) campaign which includes a variety of ways for staff, family and friends, local businesses and partner agencies to gather gifts and put a smile on the face of the vulnerable people they support.
Services in Brighton, Essex and Surrey are participating in the campaign to bring festive cheer to those in need during the run-up to Christmas.
The campaign has themes including Home Essentials, All for Onesies, and Winter Warmers to encourage appropriate donations, including treats, household items, toiletries, warm clothing and wrapping paper.
Tracey Gibbins, local service manager at Savernake Road in Chelmsford, which supports those who have been homeless, said: “Christmas can sometimes be a difficult time for people who are working towards getting back on their feet."
