Stockton residents enjoy colourful Eid celebration
Residents and staff at Sanctuary Supported Living’s St James House homelessness service in Stockton enjoyed a colourful Eid celebration.

Eid- Ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and a time when observant Muslims abstain from all food and drink between dawn and sunset.
The team hung rainbow decorations, as a tribute to frontline workers, and everyone enjoyed tucking into samosas, kebabs and other tasty treats.
Sophia Yasin, Project Worker, said: “In the current climate it was lovely for residents and colleagues to enjoy a good celebration.
“It was a very successful and positive day! We all stayed two metres apart throughout but everyone enjoyed spending time together.”
St James House provides supported housing for young people and adults aged 16 and over, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
