Liam finds the positives in Get on Track programme
For Liam Keyes-Hill, the Get on Track programme has increased his confidence and given him a positive outlook on life.
A resident at Sanctuary Supported Living’s Weston Foyer, Liam has been under the tutelage of Michelle Griffiths Robinson and Jack Rutter, both elite athletes from the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.
Liam, who has lived at the foyer since August 2018 after leaving care, is currently pursuing part-time work and is hoping the Get on Track programme will help him reach his goal.
He said: “My confidence has improved a lot recently and I am trying to be more open minded.
“I have enjoyed talking with the athletes and they have made me think differently and in a positive way.”
Liam has also been able to take part in a First Aid refresher course as part of the programme and got the chance to try a variety of sports, including rock climbing and badminton.
