Each apartment has a lounge, bedroom/s, kitchen complete with white goods (oven, hob, fridge freezer and washer drier) and bathroom with level-access shower and fitted carpets, leaving you to furnish your home how you want. Apartments are fitted with a door entry system monitored from your home via intercom and fitted with emergency pull cord alarms.

How to apply and eligibility
Whether you currently have a care need or are simply planning for the future - if you are 60 or over you may be eligible for a rental or shared ownership apartment at Wimborne House.
To rent an apartment, you must also be able to show a strong connection to the local area.
If you currently own your own property, you will be eligible for a shared ownership apartment only.

Care and support
Our on-site team can provide a comprehensive range of personal and domestic care, including helping you to develop a personal care plan. Domestic support can include help with shopping, laundry, vacuuming, washing up and prescription collection.
For extra peace of mind, your apartment will have an emergency pull cord system that, when activated, immediately alerts the 24-hour support team that you need assistance. Pendant alarms are available if required.
