We work with young people aged 16-25, encouraging them to develop the skills and confidence they need to manage their own tenancy and live independently.
Our supported accommodation includes three foyers which are accredited by The Foyer Federation. We also offer move-on services to support residents as they find and maintain their own independent accommodation, as well as floating support services where young people are supported within the community.
All support is tailored to each person’s individual needs, through a structured care and support plan, which uses the Young Person’s Star model to encourage each person to take control of their lives and work towards achieving their personal goals. Residents can receive support with:
- Maintaining a tenancy and dealing with correspondence
- Managing finances, including budgeting and benefits
- Daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning and shopping
- Building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
- Accessing education, training and employment
We also provide supported housing for pregnant teenagers, young parents and their children. As well as supporting young parents to build essential life skills to provide the best possible start in life for their children, support with:
- Sexual health and contraception
- Parenting skills
- Building positive relationships
