About us
East Kent Young People Supported Housing has services across Canterbury, Ramsgate, Sittingbourne, Hythe and Folkestone.
We provide accommodation and support for young people in care aged 16 to 18.
- Staff on-site 24 hours a day
- Short-term supported housing for up to two years
- Communal kitchens, dining rooms, lounges and gardens
Accommodation
Location
Across East Kent, specifically Canterbury, Ramsgate, Sittingbourne, Hythe and Folkestone. All services are close to shops, colleges and public transport links.
Accommodation type
A total of 39 single-occupancy bedrooms in shared houses, 17 one-bedroom flats. There is WiFi in all communal areas.
Communal areas
All services have a shared kitchen, lounge, bathroom, laundry room, computer room and garden.
Safety and security
There is a staff office on-site, and CCTV and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
Free Wi-Fi in communal areas. We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
All bedrooms and flats are let on a license agreement.

To be eligible for a place at East Kent Young People Supported Housing, applicants must:
- Be aged 16 to 18
- Be a child in care
How do I apply?
We can only accept referrals from Kent County Council's social services team and we cannot accept direct applications.
