Regional Business Assistant - Temporary position for up to 7 months

We are seeking a Regional Business Assistant based at our Nickleby Road scheme in Chelmsford. Nickleby Road provides support for adults with learning disabilities, through short-term accommodation and support to help build independent living skills. You will use your excellent customer support and administrative skills while working with colleagues to achieve the best outcome for our clients. The role of Regional Business Assistant will include:

  • Ensuring that accurate and timely information is collected, collated and presented to continuously meet and exceed regulatory requirements
  • Using/learning SAP for creating purchase orders and recording rent figures
  • Assisting with Coldharbour, a system which records residents’ details, produces invoices and calculates staff rotas and pay
  • Building relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
  • Contributing as required to programmes and projects

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience of providing effective administration support within a customer service environment
  • Focused on delivering exceptional customer service including having an approachable, caring and compassionate attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure using your own initiative
  • Proven experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar) is required
  • Good organisational skills enabling you to prioritise your workload
