Chart Lane has nine bedrooms in a shared house and a one-bedroom flat. We provide support for adults aged 18 to 65, with a range of mental health needs, encouraging them to develop their skills and live as independently as possible.

All bedrooms are let on a licence agreement and the flat is let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.


Support planning

Staff draw up a personalised support plan with residents using the Mental Health Recovery Star model.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site during office hours, giving residents peace of mind that support is on-hand. There is also an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

Tailored care, support and assistance includes:

  • Daily living skills
  • Maintaining a tenancy
  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Cooking, cleaning and shopping
  • Dealing with correspondence
  • Building positive relationships
  • Signposting and accessing other services
  • Accessing education, training and work
  • Building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
  • Planning a successful move-on

Additional support services

We also provide follow-on support when residents move on to live independently.

To be eligible for a place at Chart Lane, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 65
  • Have a mental health need or complex needs

How to apply

To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Reigate and Banstead Borough Council. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
