Volunteering

Do you have some spare time to spend with people in your community? We are always on the lookout for people who share our passion for caring and supporting residents to step forward and volunteer their skills.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to give something back and support people within your local community. Whether that's helping with day-to-day activities, supporting people to remain engaged with their community, providing one-to-one advice, accompanying residents to appointments or simply having a chat over a tea or coffee, each volunteering placement is tailored to the skills you feel you’re able to offer.

You can specify the time and days you’re able to commit to, and the only requirement is that you pass a DBS check (which we will pay for) and complete basic training prior to starting.

If you’re looking for a fulfilling and rewarding opportunity, where you can share your skills and improve the lives of people in your local community, then get started as a volunteer with Sanctuary Supported Living.
