Greenwich Care Services has five schemes spread across Greenwich, comprised of 20 bedrooms in shared houses and 20 one-bedroom flats. We provide care and support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of mental health needs.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.

20 furnished single-occupancy bedrooms across two shared houses and 20 one-bedroom flats across three separate buildings. Each flat has a bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom.

Residents are encouraged to socialise with others, using the communal facilities from across all five schemes.

Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system to ensure residents’ safety and security.

Integrated emergency pull cord alarm system throughout all schemes and personal pendant alarm available.

Tenancy agreement

The one-bedroom flats are let on an assured shorthold tenancy and the bedrooms in shared houses are let on a licence agreement.

Staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents using the Mental Health Recovery Star model

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 9am to 9pm, seven days a week at all schemes. There is an overnight concierge service and an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

  • Maintaining a tenancy
  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Cooking, cleaning and shopping
  • Managing personal care and medication
  • Dealing with correspondence
  • Socialising and community involvement
  • Developing hobbies and interests
  • Maintaining health, safety and security
  • Signposting and accessing other services
  • Planning a successful move-on

Additional support services

We also provide follow-on support when residents move on to live independently. Residents can purchase telecare technology to further promote their independence.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a place at Greenwich Care Services, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have a diagnosed mental health need

How to apply

We accept referrals from Greenwich Council.

All care and support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
