Housing

We offer different types of housing:

  • Supported housing
  • Supported housing with care
  • Residential care homes
  • Housing management services
  • Retirement communities
Stylish, new build property using a mixture of pointed and sloping roof styles, generous multi rectangular window frames allowing tonnes of natural light as well as lush grass communal area with trees and a curved walkway up to the entrances.

Many of our services are set in shared houses, where residents have their own bedroom or flat. We also have larger buildings that are fully accessible for wheelchair-users, where people have their own flat and shared communal spaces.

Our properties are close to local shops, leisure facilities and job opportunities.

We provide safe and comfortable places to live, where staff provide personalised care or support. We want everyone to have a home that meets their needs, so they can live as independently as possible.

Supported housing

Residents in supported housing either rent a bedroom on a licence agreement, or a flat on a tenancy agreement. Our staff help them build confidence and learn important life skills to be able to live on their own.

Customers pay their own bills and living costs, usually with the benefits they receive, or money they earn from working.

Supported housing with care

These services are similar to supported housing services, but they are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This means our teams can provide personal care, as well as support.

These services are for people who need medium or higher-level care and support. This includes people who have a learning disability, physical disability, or mental health need.

Residents are usually able to live more independently than people who need full-time residential care.

Residential homes

Our residential care homes provide long-term housing for people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or mental health needs. People who live in a residential home usually need more care and support than people who live in supported housing. That is why our teams are available 24 hours a day.

The community encourages residents to live as independently as possible and have active social lives. This includes activities at home and in the local community.

Housing management

Some of our supported housing services only provide housing management support. Each person usually gets a few hours of support each week, to help them maintain their tenancy and manage their money.

Support topics include paying rent and bills, budgeting, applying for benefits, and tenancy support.

Retirement communities

Our retirement properties provide one and two-bedroom apartments with a range of communal facilities. There is a care team available 24-hours a day, providing high-quality care and support.

These properties are suitable for people aged 55+ and people with long-term care needs.

Whether someone needs support to live independently, or to manage higher care and support needs, we have a housing option that suits, and we’re here every step of the way.

We want everyone who lives in one of our services to feel at home, knowing that they live somewhere that meets their needs, and that our teams can support them on their pathways for independence.
