A sophisticated ensuite double bedroom. With a tasteful green and white floral peony wallpaper to create a feature wall. The whitewashed bedside tables and wardrobe contrast well with the darker carpets and dark wooden doors.
The neatly laid out garden area provides a peaceful and calming atmosphere, with white slab paved walkways bordered by raised wooden plant beds, planted with an assortment of vegetation. Newly planted trees sit behind the raised planters on the well-kept grass.
The bold green arm chairs with matching footstools look cosy and inviting in front of the multiple shelving pieces all holding an array of books. The room also hosts four lovely green, grey and black stripped chairs that surround a risen chess board on a squared table.
A beautifully presented open plan living area, the largest wall has a subtle silver fleur de lis wallpaper, in the centre is a large black and white bridge photograph. Underneath is a cream two seater sofa and two glass coffee tables with matching lamps either side. A single arm chair is opposite the sofa next to a window allowing a lot of natural light, a cream leather foot rest is placed centrally. A small two person dining table tucks neatly between the living area and kitchen.
A wonderful airy seating area hosting an abundance of natural light from the large windows in the corners of the room. The pale blue wallpaper with earth toned floral patterns allows the light to reflect. The use of dark wooden furniture of chest of draws and circular tables break up the airy feel of the other lighter furniture such as four duck egg blue armchairs circling the table as well as a blushed pink crushed velvet chesterfield armchair facing towards the windows. The pop of orange in the lampshade but pairing it with the multi wood toned stoned design for the base.

Our building

Greenwich Gardens has a communal lounge, restaurant, guest suite, hair salon, games room, library, cinema room, fitness room and a landscaped garden. There are lifts to all floors and level access throughout.

Your new apartment is unfurnished so you can make it your own. It has an open plan lounge and fitted kitchen, one or two double bedrooms, and a level-access shower room.

There is Wi-Fi in communal areas. Pull cords are fitted in every apartment, and optional assistive technology is available to complement your lifestyle. This can be purchased at an additional cost.

Apartments are available to rent for one or two people. Leasehold apartments may also be available to purchase from a current owner. You may be eligible for financial assistance towards your rent from Derby City Council. 

Restaurant and dining

Our on-site restaurant is open to residents and visitors from 9am-3pm, seven days a week* for breakfast, lunch and snacks.  

If you live nearby, enjoy a meal out in our restaurant with your family and friends.  

We regularly have special menus to celebrate special occasions throughout the year and our restaurant has a food hygiene rating of 5 from the Food Standards Agency.

For your care to be funded by Derby City Council, you must have had your needs assessed and approved by the adult social care team.
