About us
Located in the charming town of Saffron Walden, Bromfield House provides supported housing for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our aim is to help them build the skills, confidence and self-esteem needed to live independently.

Location
Near shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, a bus stop, railway station, and park.
Accommodation type
17 part furnished bedrooms in a shared house and one bungalow.
Communal areas
A shared lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, accessible bathroom, and garden.
Safety and security
Staff on-site including overnight concierge, out-of-hours telephone service, secure door access system and CCTV help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
Free Wi-Fi in communal areas. We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
Accommodation is let on an excluded licence agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Bromfield House, applicants must be:

Homeless or at risk of homelessness

Require a minimum of six hours of support per week

Meet any additional eligibility criteria as specified by Uttlesford District Council
