About us
Chelmsford Homelessness Supported Housing is comprised of 26 bedrooms in shared houses, spread across two locations in Chelmsford.
We provide support for adults aged 18 to 65, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

- Short-term supported housing
- Communal kitchens, dining areas, lounges and gardens

Location
Two services across Chelmsford, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, parks, colleges, cinemas and public transport links.
Accommodation type
Two shared houses comprising 26 part-furnished single-occupancy bedrooms.
Communal areas
Communal facilities at both locations include a kitchen, dining room, lounge and garden.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site at Savernake Road, and CCTV and a secure door access system are used to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
Free Wi-Fi in communal areas. We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
All bedrooms are let on a licence agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Chelmsford Homelessness Supported Housing, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 to 65
- Be homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Have a local connection to the Chelmsford area
How do I apply?
We accept referrals from the Joint Referral Panel at Chelmsford City Council, please contact them for an application form. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
