About us
Bal Edmund has four one-bedroom flats and eight studio flats. We provide support for adults aged 18 to 65, with a range of mental health needs, encouraging them to develop the skills needed to live independently.

Location
A quiet, residential area of Hastings, within easy access of local amenities, including shops, leisure facilities, the seafront and public transport links.
Accommodation type
Four furnished one-bedroom flats and eight furnished studio flats.

A shared lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, gym and communal garden.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
All one-bedroom flats and studio flats are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Bal Edmund, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 to 65
- Have an enduring mental health need and require support
How do I apply?
We accept referrals from Hastings Borough Council.
All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
