About us

Set in the heart of the London borough of Wandsworth, John Pounds House has 20 one-bedroom self-contained flats.

We provide short-term support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of mental health needs.

  • Staff on-site seven days a week during office hours
  • Short-term supported housing with care for up to two years
  • Communal facilities including a lounge, kitchen, laundry room and garden

Applying

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a place at John Pounds House, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have a mental health need
  • Be able to work towards living independently within two years

How do I apply?

We are unable to accept direct applications. We can only accept referrals from the Specialist Housing Accommodation Project (SHAP) team, which serves both Richmond Council and Wandsworth Council. 

All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
