About us
Located in the town of Laindon, Dove Cott House Foyer provides supported accommodation for single, young parents aged 18 to 24, who are pregnant or have a child or children.
We encourage the young parents to develop their skills, increase their self-confidence and live as independently as possible.

Location
Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and Laindon railway station, as well as South Essex College, Basildon Adult Community College and recreational parks.
Accommodation type
23 one-bedroom flats, plus one two-bedroom family flat, across three floors. All flats are fully furnished.
Communal areas
Shared on-site facilities include a communal lounge and laundry room.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
Free Wi-Fi in communal areas.
Rental agreement type
All flats are let on a licence agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Dove Cott House Foyer, applicants must:
- Be pregnant, or have a child or children
- Be single and aged 18 – 24
- Engage with the support planning process and meet the terms of the licence agreement, including being supported to access education, training or employment
How do I apply?
We do not accept direct applications. All referrals must be made by Basildon Council.
All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
