Jackie is the Wellbeing and Inclusion Assistant based at Sanctuary Supported Living’s Moreton Court, Bideford, and she takes great pride in making sure the residents living there have full social calendars.

For Jackie, job satisfaction is the main driver as she works closely with the residents and staff to deliver a range of new and exciting activities.

She said: “A passion of mine is to make sure I’m delivering things our residents really want to take part in, and take action on their views.

“For example, I organised our annual Christmas fayre, which was very well-attended and a great time was had by all who came along.”

Jackie first started her career with Sanctuary in 2015, working as a carer. Prior to this she worked with social services and the NHS, as well as running a Sunday School class for her local church in her spare time.

“As I had been a carer for most of my working life, I thought Sanctuary would be a good and secure company to work for”, commented Jackie.

“The best thing about working here is being part of such a fantastic team.”
