In the five years since he moved to Sanctuary Supported Living’s Bransby Court in Middlesbrough, Peter, 56, has received the support he needed to start to turn his life around.

Before he moved to Station Mews, Peter had always lived with his mum, who was his main source of support, until her health began to decline, and she moved into a nursing home.

Donna Whittle is a Local Service Manager at Gore Avenue, Sanctuary Supported Living’s supported housing service in Salford for adults with mental health and complex needs, and has recently been shortlisted for the Housing Manager award at the Housing with Care Awards 2024.

As the excitement for the upcoming Euros football competition mounts, Sanctuary Supported Living, which runs domestic abuse services in Plymouth and Torbay, is aiming to raise awareness about the predicted rise in domestic abuse during the tournament.
