About us
High Street is comprised of six rooms in a shared house and three self-contained one-bedroom flats.
We provide support for adults aged 18 and over, with a range of mental health needs and learning disabilities.
- Staff on-site seven days a week, during office hours

Location
Central Dodworth, with easy access to shops, supermarkets, the library and public transport links to Barnsley.

Spread over two floors, there are six rooms in a shared house and three self-contained one-bedroom flats.
Communal areas
All residents have access to a shared lounge, kitchen, bathroom and garden.
Safety and security
On-site staff office and CCTV help to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
Free Wi-Fi in communal areas. We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
Bedrooms are let on a licence agreement and flats are let on an assured shorthold tenancy agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at High Street, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have a mental health need or learning disability
- Be eligible for a personal budget for support
How do I apply?
To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
