Am I eligible?
To be eligible for support from Cambridgeshire Homelessness, applicants must:
- Be aged 16 or over
- Be homeless or at risk of homelessness
How do I apply?
We do not accept self-referrals. If you’re homeless, or at risk of being homeless, contact your local authority - either South Cambridgeshire District Council or East Cambridgeshire District Council. Once a referral is received, staff will complete a pre-interview to assess your suitability. If approved, they will arrange an appointment to see you.
Whilst you are living in temporary accommodation with us, the local authority will assess your homeless application. If you’re found to be homeless and in priority need, it is up to the local authority to find you suitable accommodation.
If you have any questions about the support services we provide, please contact us using the form below, or call 01223 941 596 during office hours. Enquires can also be sent directly to Cambridgehostels@sanctuary.co.uk.
