Located in the coastal town of Shoreham-by-Sea, Normanhurst provides support for young people aged 18 to 25 and encourages them to live as independently as possible.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a place at West Sussex Young People’s Services, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 25
  • Have low to medium support needs
  • Pay the accommodation charges, either through eligibility for housing benefit or by other means (proof of income will be required at the referral stage)
  • Be willing to engage in support planning and meet the terms of the licence agreement, which includes being supported to access education, training or employment

We also accept referrals from West Sussex Youth Homeless Prevention Team and local authorities.

We invite all applicants to an assessment meeting so we can decide together if Normanhurst is the best place for them.
