About us
Location in a quiet, residential area, Southend Young Parents Supported Housing has 10 bedrooms in a shared house. We provide support for young people aged 16 to 25, who are pregnant or have a child. It encourages young parents to develop their skills and live as independently as possible.

A quiet, residential area of Southend, close to nurseries, colleges, Priory park and the seafront, with good public transport links to the town centre and London.

10 fully-furnished bedrooms in a shared house.

A lounge, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, training kitchen, garden and buggy store, with WiFi throughout the communal areas.
Safety and security
Staff office on-site, CCTV and a secure door access system to ensure residents’ safety and security.
Technology
We can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.
Rental agreement type
All rooms are let on a licence agreement.

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a place at Southend Young Parents Supported Housing, applicants must:
- Be single and aged 16 to 25
- Be pregnant, or have a child or children
How do I apply?
To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, where the Teenage Pregnancy Co-ordinator will assess suitability for supported housing.
All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
