Compton Road has five single occupancy bedrooms in a shared house. We provide registered personal care and support for adults aged 18 to 65, with a range of learning disabilities, supporting them to live as independently as possible.

The registered care and support delivered to residents at Compton Road is provided by Stepping Stone Court.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. They inspect and monitor care homes, nursing homes and supported housing where personal care is provided and produce reports about them, to help you find a service that suits you.

Care and support planning

Staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents using the Life Star model. Compton Road residents receive care and supported registered with Sanctuary Supported Living’s Stepping Stone Court.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site in the main office and available most days between 8am and 8pm, depending on residents’ needs, giving residents peace of mind that support is on-hand.

Additional support services

We also provide follow-on support when residents move out of Compton Road to live independently.

Note – All residents currently living at Compton Road are males over the age of 50.


To be eligible for a place at Compton Road, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 65
  • Must be mobile and able to climb stairs floor
  • Require care for a minimum of 5 hours per week
