Swan House has six single-occupancy bedrooms in a shared house. We provide low to medium level support for adults aged 18 to 65, who have a range of mental health needs, encouraging them to develop their skills and live as independently as possible.

Staff draw up a personalised support plan with residents using the Mental Health Recovery Star model.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site during office hours, giving residents peace of mind that support is on-hand. There also an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

Additional support services

We can also provide follow-on support when residents move on to live independently, for up to six weeks.Care and Support


To be eligible for a place at Swan House, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 65
  • Have a diagnosed mental health need
  • Require low to medium level support, with a minimum of 8 hours support per week

How to apply

To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Maidstone Borough Council, as well as through your Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) or social worker. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
