Located in the heart of Banbury, Rachel House has 10 self-contained flats. We provide support for young parents aged 16 to 25 and their children.

Staff draw up a personalised support plan with residents using the Young Person’s Star model.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, including overnight sleep-in for emergency support, giving residents peace of mind that support is always on-hand.

  • Managing finances (budgeting and benefits)
  • Building confidence, resilience and self-esteem
  • Accessing education, training and employment

  • Planning a successful move-on

Additional support services

We provide follow-on support for 12 weeks after residents move on to live independently.

To be eligible for a place at Rachel House, applicants must:

  • Be single and aged 16 to 25
  • Be pregnant or have a child or children

How to apply

We accept referrals from Cherwell District Council. We also accept referrals from Oxfordshire County Council’s placement team. To apply, email placementservices@oxfordshire.gov.uk. All support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
