Our building

Baskeyfield House has a communal lounge, restaurant, guest suite, hairdressing and beauty salon, games room and a landscaped garden. There are lifts to all floors and level access throughout.

Your apartment

Your new apartment is unfurnished so you can make it your own. It has an open plan lounge and fitted kitchen, one or two double bedrooms and a level-access shower room.

The daytime reception, 24-hour care staff on site and secure door entry to the building and your apartment help you to feel safe and secure.

Technology

There is Wi-Fi in communal areas. Pull cords are fitted in every apartment, and we can provide assistive technology for extra safety and reassurance, which can be purchased at additional cost.

Rent or leasehold

Apartments are available to rent for one person or two people. You may be eligible for financial assistance towards your rent from Stoke-on-Trent City Council. Leasehold apartments may also be available for private purchase from a current owner.

Restaurant and dining

Our Taste restaurant is open to residents and members of the public from 9am – 3pm seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and snacks. If you live nearby, enjoy a meal out in our restaurant with your family and friends.*

We regularly have special menus to celebrate special occasions throughout the year and our Taste restaurant has a food hygiene rating of 5 from the Food Standards Agency.

  1. Contact us for an application form, or complete the enquiry form below.
  2. We’ll arrange for you to visit and meet us.
  3. We’ll help you to complete a housing assessment and affordability form, as you may be eligible for financial assistance towards your rent and part of your service charge.
  4. While you’re here, we may assess if you would benefit from our care and support services, and we may arrange to visit you at home to discuss your needs. For your care to be funded by Stoke-on-Trent City Council, you must have had your needs assessed and approved by the adult social care team.
