Located in a quiet, residential area on the outskirts of Leicester, Skelton Court is a residential care home with 15 en-suite bedrooms, including two respite rooms. We provide residential care and support for 15 adults aged 18 to 65, who have a range of learning disabilities and complex or high needs, including dementia.

Care and support planning

Staff draw up a personalised care and support plan with residents using the Life Star model. We provide 24-hour residential care and support, including personal care, depending on individual needs.

Staff availability

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving residents peace of mind that support is always on-hand, and a bespoke nurse call system is installed throughout to provide emergency support when needed.

To be eligible for a place at Skelton Court, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 to 65
  • Have a learning disability with high or critical needs

How to apply

To apply directly, please complete the enquiry form below and ask for an application form. We also accept referrals from Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council. All care and support needs will be assessed before an application is accepted.
