Staff work with residents to create a personalised care and support plan, using the Life Star model. Residents receive a minimum of six hours' care and support a week.

Our highly-trained staff are on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, giving residents peace of mind that support is always on-hand. There is an out-of-hours telephone service, should residents require any further support.

Residents can also purchase additional telecare technology, to promote their independence and reduce their need for support, whilst still feeling safe. We also provide floating support to people living in the local area.

Sanctuary Supported Living is part of Sanctuary, which is regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH). The RSH is the government body for the social housing sector. It sets standards for social housing providers and can take action if they’re breached. 

If you’re a customer and you have a problem with one of our services, the first step is to speak to your Local Service Manager, who will try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If you are still not happy, you can follow our complaints process, which explains how to make a complaint and what to expect from us.  

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Housing Ombudsman Service, which is an independent organisation that deals with disputes between landlords and tenants, or the Social Care Ombudsman which can investigate complaints about adult social care providers. 

Avalon Court is also regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which inspects and rates all services which provide personal care and support. For more information, you can view the most recent Avalon Court CQC inspection report.
